A group guard bot is a Telegram bot that welcomes new members and keeps spam out of the chat. On arrival it greets them, shows the rules and asks for a tap to confirm a human is there before they can post. Fail that within a few minutes and the account is quietly removed. From then on it watches for links from very new accounts, repeated messages and flooding, and warns, mutes or deletes on your terms.

Group guard bot
Spam stops reaching members, and newcomers get the rules on the way in.
What this bot does
-
A check at the door
A new member taps a button before they can write. Automated accounts do not get past that step and never reach the chat.
-
A welcome with the rules
People are greeted by name and shown the rules straight away. The welcome text and the rules are yours to write.
-
Removes spam before it is read
Links from brand-new accounts, the same message repeated, flooding. You set where the line sits.
-
Commands for admins
Warn, mute, kick, ban. Every action lands in a short log, so it is clear who did what.
-
Nothing happens silently
Every automatic action is explained, so it does not look arbitrary. Admins and pinned messages are never touched.
A description you can paste
Copy it into the chat with AGNTDEV — that is enough to start. You can add to it.
Description to paste
I want a Telegram bot that runs my group chat — welcoming new members and keeping out spam. When someone joins, greet them by name with a short welcome and the rules, and ask them to tap a button to confirm they're human before they can post; if they don't verify within a few minutes, quietly remove them so bots never get in. Watch for obvious spam — links from brand-new accounts, repeated identical messages, flood posting — and warn, mute, or remove based on thresholds I set. Give admins simple commands to warn, mute, kick, or ban, and keep a short log of actions so we can see who did what. Let me edit the welcome message and rules, choose which actions are automatic, and mark trusted users as exempt. Never act on admins or pinned content, explain every automated action so it doesn't feel arbitrary, and give me an overview of joins, verifications, and removals over time.
How it works
- Open AGNTDEV in Telegram and paste the description above.
- Answer questions about the substance: the rules text, what to do with spam, who your admins are.
- The build runs in the background — you get a notification when the bot is ready.
- Add the bot to the group and give it admin rights. After that you edit in words: “mute for an hour instead of deleting”.
Common questions
Could it ban a real person by mistake?
You set the thresholds, and every automatic action is explained in the chat. Admins and pinned messages are exempt, and trusted members can be marked as exceptions.
What rights does the bot need?
Admin rights to delete messages and restrict members. Without them Telegram will not let any bot remove spam — that is a limit of the messenger, not of this platform.
What can I see after a week?
An overview for the period: how many joined, how many passed the check, how many messages were removed. That tells you whether your thresholds are too strict.
Can I keep only the welcome?
Yes. Say at creation that you do not want the check or the anti-spam, and you get a bot that simply greets newcomers and shows the rules.
