An RSVP bot is a Telegram bot that registers guests for an event and keeps track of the places left. You create the event with a date, a place and an optional cap, and the bot gives you a link to share or posts it in a group. People answer with one tap — going, not going, maybe — and can add a plus-one. The headcount is live, the cap is held by a waitlist that promotes people automatically when someone drops.

Event RSVP bot
The guest list keeps itself and the cap holds without you watching it.
What this bot does
-
One tap to answer
Going, not going, maybe — buttons, no form and no sign-up. The answer can be changed until the deadline you set.
-
The waitlist runs itself
When the places are gone, people join a waitlist and know it. Somebody drops out and the bot promotes the next person and tells them.
-
Live count and full list
How many are coming, how many are thinking, how many places are left. The full guest list is yours alone until you share it.
-
A reminder before the event
Everyone who said yes gets a reminder. That noticeably cuts the number who simply forgot.
-
One message to everybody
The place or time changed — you write it once and the bot delivers it to every guest.
A description you can paste
Copy it into the chat with AGNTDEV — that is enough to start. You can add to it.
Description to paste
I want a Telegram bot that handles RSVPs for events I organize, big or small. I create an event with a title, date and time, place, and an optional guest limit, and the bot gives me a shareable link or posts it in a group where people RSVP with one tap — going, not going, or maybe — and can add a "+1" or a note. It keeps a live headcount, enforces the limit with a waitlist that auto-promotes people if someone drops out, and shows me the full guest list any time. Send reminders before the event to everyone who said yes, and let people change their answer up to a cutoff I set. I can edit the event, message all attendees at once, and close RSVPs when I'm ready. Handle a full event gracefully, never lose a response, keep the guest list visible only to me unless I share it, and confirm every RSVP so people know it registered.
How it works
- Open AGNTDEV in Telegram and paste the description above.
- Answer questions about the substance: how many places, whether you need a waitlist, how early to remind.
- The build runs in the background — you get a notification when the bot is ready.
- The bot goes live on your own account and the link is shareable. After that you edit in words: “ask whether they're bringing a dog”.
Common questions
What happens when the places run out?
New arrivals join a waitlist and are told so. As soon as someone drops out the bot promotes the next person and lets them know a place has opened.
Can I collect guest details?
Yes — say at creation what to ask for, a name and a phone number for instance. The list is visible only to you.
Can people change their mind?
Yes, until the deadline you set. After the deadline RSVPs close, and you can also close them by hand at any point.
Does it work for a recurring meetup?
Yes, an event is created per date. If you meet weekly that is an edit in words: “create the event every Wednesday”.
